Yeovil Town have appointed Jamie Hedges as the club's new Head of Recruitment. Hedges joins the club having most recently worked at Aldershot Town and will play a key role in shaping the recruitment strategy, the Glovers said. He left the Shots in early November following their change of manager, with John Coleman joining. Beforehand he had worked at Bristol Rovers and King’s Lynn Town. Yeovil Town said Hedges brings a wealth of experience in recruitment and talent identification. On his appointment, Hedges said he was delighted to be joining Yeovil and believed he could make a real positive impact. In his new role at Yeovil Town, Hedges will report directly to the Board and work closely alongside the first-team manager and coaching staff. His responsibilities will include scouting emerging talent, refining recruitment processes, and ensuring that every acquisition supports Yeovil Town's ambition both on and off the pitch. Hedges earlier this year had been banned after breaking the FA's gambling rules, receiving a two-month ban from football with immediate effect and a £850 fine. He had placed 2,523 bets on football matches between 2 January 2020 and 5 May 2025. Yeovil Town's new Head of Recruitment is expected to make an immediate impact, with the club looking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. Hedges will work closely with Richard Dryden, the current Glovers' boss, to identify and secure top talent. The club's fans will be hoping that Hedges' appointment will bring a new era of success to Yeovil Town. With his experience and expertise, Hedges is well-placed to help the club achieve their goals. Yeovil Town's recruitment strategy is set to be shaped by Hedges, with the club looking to build a competitive squad. The Glovers will be looking to make a strong start to the season, with Hedges playing a key role in their preparations.
