Yeovil Town's rivals Farnham Town have signed former Farnborough defender Louie Holzman on a one-year contract. The 22-year-old centre-back came through the academy system at Reading and joined National League side Eastleigh in the summer of 2025. He joined Farnborough on a permanent basis in February before leaving in May. Holzman joined Farnham on trial this summer, and has now signed a permanent contract. Farnham Town manager Paul Johnson said: "Louie was a standout performer in our win over Eastleigh to finish off pre-season. He showed great composure on the ball and ability to carry it out from the back, but also that aggressive side of the game, dominant in the air and committed in the challenge – everything you want to see from a central defender." Farnham Town chairman Harry Hugo added: "We're really happy to be adding a player of Louie's quality to our squad at this stage of the summer. Having watched him for 90 minutes in our final pre-season friendly, it was clear to everyone watching that he was a very impressive footballer with a lot of the attributes you want from a defender in today's game. From chatting to him after the game as well about what it is we're doing at Farnham, Louie immediately got it and was bought in, which was great to see." Next fixture: vs Solihull Moors (away, 2027-02-20) (17th in the table).
