Yeovil Town's transfer window continues with the signing of Stephen Walker from Scarborough Athletic on a two-year deal. The striker brings significant experience to the club. Walker has signed from Scarborough Athletic, where he was the side's top-scorer last season having scored 18 goals in 39 league appearances as they secured a play-off finish in National League North. He began his career at Middlesbrough where he progressed through the academy and signed his first professional contract in 2016 before making his senior debut in the EFL Cup against Notts County in 2018, where he both assisted and featured in a penalty shoot-out. During his time at the Riverside Stadium, Walker gained further senior experience through loan spells at MK Dons, Crewe Alexandra and Tranmere Rovers - scoring his first professional goal for Crew in 2020 and continuing his development across League Two. After leaving Middlesbrough in 2023, he moved into non-league football with spells at West Auckland Town and Whitby Town, before joining Scarborough Athletic in February 2025. Walker has also represented England at under-17, under-18 and under-19 level, underlining his pedigree at youth international level. Speaking after his arrival, Walker said: 'I'm absolutely delighted. I'm grateful for the opportunity. I'm buzzing to get started.'
