Yeovil Town Football Club is proud to announce Somerset Care as its new partner ahead of the 2026/27 season. The partnership aims to strengthen community connections through football. Somerset Care has supported people across the South West for over 35 years, helping individuals to live the life they choose within their local communities. With a strong focus on wellbeing, independence, and connection, the organisation works with people in residential care and those supported within their own homes. Dan Howell, Yeovil Town Commercial Lead, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Somerset Care as a new partner of the club ahead of the 2026/27 season. They are an organisation with a long-standing commitment to supporting people in our community, and their values align closely with ours at Yeovil Town. Football has a unique ability to bring people together, and we’re excited to work with Somerset Care to help strengthen those community connections throughout the season ahead.” A spokesperson from Somerset Care said: “For 35 years, Somerset Care has supported people to live the life they choose, in their local communities. We understand how important it is to stay connected and feel a part of the community in which you live, particularly for those who may feel isolated or need specialist support. Sport can play such a powerful role in bringing people together, and we are proud to lend our support to Yeovil Town Football Club this season. We are excited for the opportunities this will bring for residents at our Cooksons Court and Grovelands care homes in Yeovil, as well as those we support to remain in their own homes, to feel connected in their local area.”
